Avatar (2009) is a Golden Globe Award-nominated English Sci-fi movie by James Cameron. The movie is considered most successful as it broke the 1-billion-dollar mark at box offices worldwide over the weekend. Cameron won the award in the Best Director - Motion Picture category at the Golden Globe Awards.
