Anna Nicole Smith (Death: February 8, 2007) is an American model.
Anna Nicole Smith is a former Playboy Playmate.
In October 08, an Australian judge banned her breast augmentation surgery video of 1994 for distribution by a Texas doctor Dr. Gerald Johnson and his wife. Gerald said he took permission to use the video after Smith died. Larry Birkhead, who fathered Smith's daughter, called the video truly disgusting in a sworn declaration issued in 2007, as the tape focused on areas of her nude body that were unrelated to the location of the surgery.
Anna Nicole Smith died of drug overdose on February 8, 2007 in Florida, at the age of 39.
In March 09, Smith's beau Howard K. Stern and doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich are charged with giving her drugs according to the Los Angeles District Attorneys office said in a press release. The doctors are charged with conspiracy for giving controlled substances to Smith from June 5, 2004 to January 26, 2006. In September 09, it is revealed that a pharmacist has said that he feared for Smiths life because the drugs prescribed to her before her death amounted to pharmaceutical suicide. On September 23, 2009, Howard K. Stern, the lawyer and companion of Smith was charged with five felony counts in relation to the her drug use and death. The charges include obtaining fraudulent prescriptions and prescribing, administering or dispensing controlled substances to an addict. A friend of Smith revealed in November 09 that Smith was fed tablets by her boyfriend during final days of her life.
In August 09, the executors of Smiths estate are reported to be planning to take legal action after it emerged that an escort service in Las Vegas has been distributing flyers branded with her nude image.
In September 09, the State Franchise Tax Board has filed a creditor's claim in her probate case for $43,280.66 for back taxes from her 2007 tax return. Of that amount, $35,424 is the delinquent tax, $4,837.12 is the penalty and interest totals $3,019.54. The Franchise Tax Board is reported to have served Howard K. Stern for this.
