Jenna Bush Hager

Jenna Welch Bush Hager is the younger of the fraternal twin daughters of the 43rd U.S. President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush, and a granddaughter of the 41st U.S. President George H. W. Bush. She and her sister Barbara were the first twin children of a U.S. president. Hager is an author, an editor, and a correspondent for NBC's Today show.

Personal Biography

She is named after her maternal grandmother Jenna Hawkins Welch.


Jenna Bush attended several primary and secondary schools. She and her sister attended the Preston Hollow Elementary School and The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas

Henry Chase Hager proposed to Jenna Bush on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Maine on August 15, 2007. The wedding took place during a private ceremony on May 10, 2008, at her parents' Prairie Chapel Ranch near Crawford, Texas.


Jenna Hager Bush is pregnant and is expecting her first child with husband Henry Hager. Her pregnancy was announced on 12 December 2012 on the TODAY show to Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie. In the interview, Jenna Hager Bush siad "I'm pregnant! We're so excited and obviously nervous about it. I'm a first-time mom. But it's something that I've always wanted. I'm a teacher and I love kids."
