About Unlawful Activity Prevention Act (UAPA)

A special court awarded a death sentence to Ajmal Amir Kasab for waging war against India, murder, conspiracy to murder, and participating in an act of terror under the act.

On August 11, 2010, the Indian Government informed that the schedule to UAPA contains a list of 35 entries/entities, listed as terrorist organisations, apart from nine organizations notified as unlawful associations under this act.
