Central Administrative Tribunal


Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has been established for adjudication of disputes with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services in India. The Tribunal is formed in pursuance of the amendment of Constitution of India by Articles 323A.

Re-examination of 2013 Staff Selection Commission
CAT orders re-examination of 2013 Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination. The exam was conducted for the recruitment of income tax inspectors and CBI sub inspectors among others. The re-examination was ordered due to the leakage of question papers. CAT has taken the Delhi Police Status report into consideration which said that the Tier-I and Tier-II exam papers were leaked from various centres. Apr 26, 2014
