B Subhashan Reddy


B Subhashan Reddy is the Lokayukta of Andhra Pradesh.

He is a retired Chief Justice of High Court of Madras and High Court of Kerala. Subhashan Reddy also served as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission.

On 10 October 2012, Subhashan Reddy is appointed the Lokayukta of Andhra Pradesh. His term is for five years. Subhashan Reddy took oath of office on 12 October 2012 at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad. His oath was administered by Governor ESL Narasimhan. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, acting Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court Pinaki Chandra Ghose and several judges of High Court participated in the swearing-in ceremony. Subhashan Reddy succeeds Justice S Ananda Reddy.
