Meaghan Mikkelson (Birth: January 4, 1985) is a Canadian Womens Ice Hockey player and plays for the Edmonton Chimos (WWHL) club. She is from St. Albert, Alta. In March 09, she is picked by Hockey Canada as a forward player for the Canadian Ice Hockey team to play in the 2009 IIHF World Women Championship.

Personal Biography

Her father, Bill, played four seasons in the NHL in the early 1970s. Betsy is her mother. Her brother, Brendan, is a hockey player too.

Mikkelson is a native of St. Albert, AB.

Professional Biography

As Ice Hockey player

Mikkelson took up the forward position during minor hockey days. She moved to the blue line at the beginning of 2005-06's third season at the University of Wisconsin.
