Dominique Strauss-Kahn, often referred to as DSK, (born April 25, 1949 in Neuilly -sur-Seine) is a French economist, lawyer, and politician. He is a former International Monetary Fund chief.

Strauss-Kahn has separated from his wife, journalist and heiress Anne Sinclair.

Accusation of raping a hotel maid

Dominique Strauss-Kahn is accused of raping a hotel maid Diallo in May 2011. A lawsuit was filed in the incident. Diallo accused Kahn of chasing her and forcing her to perform oral sex.

On 30 November 2012, Dominique Strauss-Kahn and the hotel maid have reached an agreement to settle the lawsuit. The deal drops the lawsuit and includes a confidentiality agreement which could prevent the two from speaking about the incident in public.
