Indian Grand Prix

The Indian Grand Prix is a Formula One race held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. The first event of the Indian Grand Prix is scheduled to be held on October 30, 2011. The 2011 Indian Grand Prix is 17th race of the 2011 Formula One season. The 2011 Grand Prix is also called the Airtel Grand Prix of India as Bharti Airtel is the official title sponsor.

The new race track was officially homologated on September 1, 2011 by Charlie Whiting, and the inaugural race is now confirmed to have its debut in 2011.

2012 Indian Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel won his fourth race in succession in the 2012 Formula One season as he won the Indian Grand Prix on 28 October 2012. This is his fifth victory in the season. Sebastian Vettel is 13 points ahead of second placed Fernando Alonso in the Drivers standings table.

Olympic Bronze medalist Gagan Narang waved the chequered flag.
