Contract Talks

The talks between Robin van Persie and Arsenal to sign a contract extension failed. An offer of seven million pounds was made. With the failure to sign an extension, Clubs including Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid are eying to sign up Persie.

Robin van Persie didn't sign a new contract with Arsenal after the Premier League season. Manchester City's director of football Patrick Vieira warned Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said that he might lose van Persie and also Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.
