Hughes also played for Barcelona and Bayern Munich, as well as the English clubs Chelsea, Southampton, Everton and finally Blackburn Rovers, before retiring in 2002.

2011-12 Season

Queens Park Ranger is all set to reward Mark Hughes a bonus of one million pounds if he saves the club from relegation. In order to stay up in the Premier League, Queens Park Ranger will need to defeat Manchester City in their final match, which will also spoil the City's title bid. The victory will also be a revenge for Hughes who was sacked as Manchester City's manager in 2009.
