Ted Terry is his father. In March 2010, Ted was been arrested for allegedly selling cocaine in a bar. He was given a suspended six-month prison term for selling cocaine to an undercover reporter.

Wife Toni

Toni is his wife. Later during the month, the two are reportedly planning to renew their wedding vows. In February 2010, Toni appeared to have forgiven her cheating husband and renewed the romance after the couple were seen canoodling under the Dubai sunshine. In March 2010, Terry is said to have showered all his attention on Toni at the Lyric Theatre in London's West End for the Michael Jackson musical Thriller. In June 2010, as Terry got ready for the Three Lions World Cup opener against the US tonight, his wife Toni has become the first WAG to represent her country in sport.

In March 2010, he launched an astonishing attack on German referee Wolfgang Stark in the wake of his clubs Champions League exit.

Terry's comment that many of his team-mates are ready to challenge boss Fabio Capello about aspects of his regime has made England players furious.

Quits England Football Team

On September 23, 2012 Terry has quit the England national football team ending his nine-year international career. "I have always given my all and it breaks my heart to make this decision. I am making this statement today in advance of the hearing of the FA disciplinary charge because I feel the FA, in pursuing charges against me where I have already been cleared in a court of law, have made my position with the national team untenable," Terry said.

"I now look forward to playing for Chelsea FC, and challenging for domestic and European honors. And I want to thank the fans and the club for their continued support.", he said.
