About Harry Redknapp

Henry James "Harry" Redknapp (born 2 March 1947) is an English former footballer who has had a long career in football management and is the current manager Tottenham.

In 2012, Harry Redknapp was overlooked for the England national team manager's job. Roy Hodgson is named for the vacant job, though Redknapp was one of the top contenders for the position. Disappointed by the snub, Redknapp said that he is disappointed but Hodgson deserves the position. He said that he may not get an opportunity again.

Nearing to the end of the English Premier League 2011-12 season, Redknapp admitted that he would settle for the fourth position as it would be difficult to overtake Arsenal to claim the third place. His comments came after his side Tottenham's loss to Norwich 2-1.
