About Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger is the manager of the English Premier League team Arsenal. He is also a French association football manager and a former football player. Wenger has been managing the Arsenal side since 1996 making him the club's longest serving manager. He is also the most successful Arsenal manager.

In February 2009, he said that Arsenal is the only team amongst the European elite teams interested in developing young players.

An asteroid 33179 Arsenewenger has been named after him by the astronomer Ian P. Griffin.
