Andre Villas-Boas is the current manager of the Tottenham Hotspurs football club. He is former manager of the Chelsea football club.

He is a Portuguese football manager. Prior to his appointment at Chelsea, Villas-Boas spent nine months as manager of Academica and a year at Porto.

Manager of Chelsea

Andre Villas-Boas is appointed the manager of Chelsea on a three-year contract on June 22, 2011. Chelsea won the 2011 Barclays Asia Trophy on July 30, 2011. He was sacked as the manager of the Chelsea football club on March 4, 2012.

Chelsea footballer John Obi Mikel said that Boas's inability to communicate effectively with the Chelsea's players is the problem of his regime having collapsed.
