In January 2010, he courted controversy after suggesting that Adolf Hitler was nothing less than an easy scapegoat by history. Later in July 2010, he again came under fire for his comments on Jews and Hitler in a recent London interview, which critics are calling anti-Semitic. He apologized for the comments later.
