Nora Ephron was an American filmmaker, director, producer, screenwriter, novelist, playwright, journalist, author, and blogger. She is known for her films Silkwood, When Harry Met Sally... and Sleepless in Seattle.

Nora has earned three Academy Award nominations in the Original Screenplay category. She passed away on June 26, 2012.
