About Hassan Qashqavi

Hassan Qashqavi is Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman. On June 21, 2009, Qashqavi has blamed the BBC and VOA for guiding unrest in Iran. He said that the two media outlets are state-funded and hence voice the views of their respective Governments. He said that any sort of contact with the said channels either through e-mail or telephone runs against national Iranian sovereignty and is considered as an act of enmity towards the Iranian nation.
