Sunil Gavaskar is a former Indian cricket. He is currently a columnist, commentator and a cricket analyst. Widely regarded as one of the greatest opening batsman in Test match history, Gavaskar set world records during his career for the most runs and most centuries scored by any batsman. In February 09, he is honorared with a Doctor of Sciences by the D Y Patil University at an exclusive convocation in Mumbai.
