Rajasthan Royals is a team in the Indian Premier League. The team won the first IPL tournament led by former Australian spinner Shane Warne. The team is currently led by Rahul Dravid.

Ownership

The Rajasthan Royals team is owned by Manoj Badale. Other investors include Ryan Tkalcevic, Lachlan Murdoch, Sir. Aditya S Chellaram and Suresh Chellaram. Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty paid approximately US $15.4 million for a 11.7% stake in early 2009.

Team management

On February 3, 09, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty bought a 12 percent stake in the team spending $15.4 million in the team with her London-based businessman partner Raj Kundra.

Raj Kundra was reportedly furious over an umpiring decision in a one-run loss against Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League 5. "@rajasthanroyals umpire need's glasses!!! It was a clear wide Miles away fm the leg stump!! I am proud of my boys! Gave #DD a good run!!" wrote Kundra in a Twitter message.

Other information

However, in April 2010, according to preliminary information, available documents of Rajasthan Royals shows that there is no mention of Raj Kundra or Shilpa Shetty in it.
