Sahara Pune Warriors

Pune Warriors India is a franchise cricket team that plays in the Indian Premier League. The team represents the city of Pune, Maharashtra.

Pune Warriors India is one of two new franchisees added to the IPL for the 2011 season, alongside the Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Sahara Adventure Sports Limited made the winning bid of $370 million for the Pune franchise on March 21, 2010. The bid is the highest bid by any company in the short history of IPL.

The team is led by Sourav Ganguly in the 2012 season.
