Kings XI Punjab

Kings XI Punjab is a franchisee of the Indian Premier League.

The team is currently lead by former Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist, who also serves as the coach of the team.

In March/April 2010, a local court issued a notice of motion to Kings XI Punjab co-owners Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia, their senior vice-president operations Arvinder Singh and an SSP, Phase VIII SHO on a PIL by an NGO for April 5. Global Human Rights Council (GHRC) chairman advocate Arvind Thakur alleged great public inconvenience, harassment and nuisance due to the ongoing T20 matches of IPL 3 at the PCA stadium.

In February 2010, reports are out that the owners of Kings XI Punjab, have sold their stake to Hero Honda Motors Limited. The owners have denied the reports about the sale.
