Natasha Richardson (Born: May 1963 at London; Death: March 18, 2009 at New York, USA) is a British actress and is a part of the legacy of the Redgrave acting dynasty.

Professional Biography

Natasha Richardson is the daughter of Oscar-winning Film Director Tony Richardson and actress Vanessa Redgrave. She married actor Liam Neeson in 1994 and has two children - Michael, and Daniel.

Early childhood of Natasha was in England. She underwent training at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Toronto accident & Death

Natasha Richardson who was wearing a helmet initially looked unhurt she fell down while skiing and enjoying a holiday on the Mont Tremblant. A staffer at the resort said the actress appeared well after the fall but her skiing instructor has called for a skiing patrol. She was taken to a nearby hospital on complaint of beign unwell and complain of headache about an hour later. She is rushed to Montreal hospital on March 16, 2009 after it is confirmed she is suffering from head injuries in a skiing accident. She is suffering from traumatic brain injury and was told that her condition was serious. Neeson is filming the movie Chloe in Toronto with Julianne Moore. Doctors believe she might have had a blood clot inside the skull and might have gone brain dead. She is flown to New York, US on March 17, 2009 on the request of her family members in a private jet.

Richardson is a successful actress both in England and the United States. She appeared on stage both at London's West End and the New York's Broadway. She won Broadway's Tony Award in the 1998 musical revival, Cabaret.

Richardson has a brief television career too when she took up roles in the BBC production of Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts and the CBS mini-series Haven (2001).
