Buster Posey

Gerald Dempsey "Buster" Posey III is an American professional baseball catcher. He plays as the first baseman for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). Posey made his major league debut on September 11, 2009; he was named the Giants' regular catcher on June 30, 2010.

NL Comeback Player of the Year

In October 2012, Buster Posey was given the National League's Comeback Player of the Year title. After returning to the game from a broken league, Posey led San Francisco Giants to win the National League West title. He hit .336 with a career-high 24 home runners and 103 RBIs. He played in only 45 games in 2011 after his injury in a violent collision on May 25.
