Toyota Boshoku Corporation is a supplier of seats, door trims, headliners and substrates, carpets, fabrics and straps in addition to air and oil filters for Toyota Motors.

The reputation of Toyota suffered a dent since 2008. They have recalled more than 10 million vehicles in 2009-11. The company also posted its biggest quarterly operating profit in April-June 2012 in four years.

The Toyota Motor Corp also regained its position as the world's best-selling automaker in the first half of 2012.

Recalls 7.4 million vehicles

Toyota Motor Corp has announced that it would recall 7.4 million vehicles worldwide due to a faulty power window switch. The faulty switch was a potential fire hazard. The pullout is the biggest single recall since Ford recalled 8 million vehicles in 1996 to replace defective ignition switches.
