Lynne Spears is an author and mother of popular pop star Britney Spears and actress Jamie Lynn Spears. Lynn is considered a pushy mum and is always driving Britney's career.
Jamie Lynn Spears is her daughter. Jamie took support from mom during her pregnancy by learning parenting skills.
Lynne is emotionally very close to her daughter. She was heartbroken after watching her daughters meltdown when Britney is taken to a psychiatric ward from her Hollywood home on a stretcher in January 2008.
Later during October 2008, the parents has put her in a 6-month sex ban so that she will not fall into bad hands. They used the dispute with manager to take charge of her.
Britney, during her troubled times, accused Lynne of sleeping with her ex-hubby Kevin Federline.
Lynne got the idea to pen a book on parenting way back in 2007 when she signed a 1 million dollars deal. Lynne in her book Through The Storm - A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World revealed many personal facts about Britney. She said Britney started boozing at 13, made love with football star Reg Jones at 14 and took drugs at 15. Lynne accused Britney's former manager Sam Lutfi of acting as a predator in her daughter's life and cutting her off from her loved ones.
Despite being a tell-all book about her, Britney said she is not furious about the book.
