Andew Symonds is not listed in the Australia test squad but the team captain Ricky Ponting said he loves Symonds to be back in his side sooner than later. Symonds is sent home soon after the Bangladesh test for missing an important team meeting for fishing. His team mates demanded a complete attitude overhaul and a penitent heart as well for Symonds. Ponting however says he sees positive signs for Symonds return. Symonds had a strained relationship with Michael Clarke. Many feared their relationship could prove irreparable should the Queenslander place the blame for his embarrassing expulsion solely at Clarke's feet. Symonds is also believed to work with Phil Jauncey, the sports psychologist who helped him through his marriage break-up, as part of a program devised by Cricket Australia.
