About Usain Bolt

Usain St. Leo Bolt, C.D., is a Jamaican sprinter and an Olympic gold medalist. Bolt holds the world record for the 100 metres at 9.58 seconds, the 200 metres at 19.19 seconds and, along with his teammates, the 4x100 metres relay at 37.10 seconds. Bolt also holds the Olympic record in the 100 metres at 9.69 seconds and the 200 metres at 19.30 seconds. Bolt became the first man to win all three events at a single Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984, the first man in history to set world records in all three at a single Olympics, and the first man to hold the 100 and 200m world and Olympic titles at the same time. His name (an aptronym) and achievements in sprinting have earned him the media nickname 'Lightning Bolt'.

Usain Bolt is currently dating fashion designer Lubica Slovak. In May 2012, Bolt received criticism that he is suffering from 'white woman complex'. His fellow Jamaicans were reportedly unhappy with Usain Bolt choosing a white partner.

In May 2012, Usain Bolt broke up with his girlfriend Lubica Slovak to concentrate on winning the Olympic medals.
