The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) is a group formed by few of Indian airliners. Top 5 Indian private airlines are members of the federation.

In May 2009, Spicejet, IndiGo and Kingfisher have announced the formation of a new online travel agency (OTA) under the leadership of FIA - Rang7 - which will sell air tickets for them.

In August 2009, the federation met the Indian Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel, demanding reduction in sales tax on jet fuel and airport charges.

Airlines take the Lead: All domestic Fares Online in New, Friendly Format
Member airlines have decided to publish different fare levels for each route, the Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) said today. The declaration came following an FIA-facilitated joint discussion among representatives of member airlines. The FIA members include Air India Ltd., GoAir, IndiGo, Jet Airways, JetLite, Kingfisher Airlines, Paramount Airways and SpiceJet
