About Air India Express

Air-India Express is a low-cost airline subsidiary of Air India based in Mumbai, India. It operates services mainly to the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The airline is now part of the National Aviation Company of India Limited, which was formed in order to facilitate the seamless merger of Air India and Indian Airlines.

Founded in April 2005, Air India Express has hubs at Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. Its focus cities are Chennai, Mumbai and Mangalore. It has a fleet of 22 and operates to 27 destinations. It has its headquarters at Mumbai, India. Arvind Jadhav is its CMD.
