In March 06, Connery filed a breach of contract suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Sherwood Country Club that they are trading on his name without properly reimbursing him for his expensive membership. Connery joined the club in April 1990 on promise of promoting both its own business and the surrounding suburb in Thousand Oaks. In November 07, the parties reached an out-of-court settlement.

Being A Scot is the autobiography of Sean Connery. The book has been a top biller at Edinburgh International Book Festival and received good media attention but was able to sell only 5000 copies in the UK (as of October 2008).
