Dennis Quaid has gained worldwide fame for his performances in Jaws 3-D, The Right Stuff, The Big Easy, Far from Heaven, The Rookie, The Day After Tomorrow, Vantage Point, Footloose, The Parent Trap, Soul Surfer and Innerspace.

Personal Biography

In December 08, Dennis and his wife reached an agreement with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center over the overdose of Heparin, blood thinner, that his newborn twins received while being treated there in November 2007. The overdose has put their lives at serious risk.

In order to quit his smoking habit, Dennis Quaid is using an electronic cigarette. In 2012, he was spotted smoking a SmokeStik.


Dennis Quaid is married thrice. He is married to PJ Soles from 1978 to 1983. He later married Meg Ryan. The marriage lasted 10 years from 1991 to 2001. Quaid later married Kimberly Buffington. In March 2011, Quaid confirmed that his third marriage ended and that his wife Buffington has filed for divorce.
