Personal Biography

Daniel said her mother Carol dreamed him to attend college but he quit his A-levels at 16 to attend a drama school. She couldn't stop herself from worrying when he announced his acceptance into the National Youth Theatre.

Daniel is a video game fanatic and loves to play the rock fantasy challenge Guitar Hero. He is a Liverpool FC supporter. He is a big fan of bacon sarnies and even had a van of food delivered to him when away from home.

Paparazzi troubles

Craig consumes numerous alcoholic beverages in a short period of time so he can make the most of a visit to the pub so as to avoid fans and paparazzi troubles.

Craig revealed he used to be so embarrassed of the roles he did in the early stages of his career that he would visit movie shops to try to get them taken off the shelves.

Craig as James Bond

Craig is the sixth James Bond. He took the role from Pierce Brosnan and credited him to 'go for it'. Craig's Casino Royale had managed to break box-office records with the film collecting 600 million dollars and is well received. Eva said that she and Craig didnt enjoy kissing in the movie but tried their best for it.

Producer Barbara Broccoli said Daniel will definitely be back as Bond again. In fact, MGM's chief executive and chairman Harry Sloan, in November 07 itself has said he has "signed Daniel Craig to do four more James Bond films" because franchises are "the bases of any studio".

In February 09, Lily Allen said she wants to star opposite Craig as Bond girl.


Daniel Craig and Quantum of Solace

Craig made his second appearance as James Bond in Quantum of Solace. Daniel is injured several times taking risky shots for the movie. He became the chief guest of a NY baptism party after he accidentally wandered to the party after hearing sound of bagpipes when he is in New York to promote the movie. He said he was under immense pressure in his second appearance.

In November 08, Craig, along with Olga, had a warm red carpet welcome at the Sydney premiere and said he wish to have a 007 movie shot in Australia.

Craig hoped Quantum of Solace will be beat Kidmans Australia at box office.

Steven Gerrard as James Bond

Daniel Craig has said that he thinks Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard would be perfect for the role of James Bond. According to Liverpool's official website, Craig asked "Who would I rather be, captain of Liverpool or Bond? Well I don't think I could keep up any more so Bond will do but Steven Gerrard would make a good Bond. He is a good leader so you know what, seriously, who knows?"
