Rihanna defies management orders to stay away from Chris Brown

April 4, 2012 - New York

Rihanna is reportedly rebelling against her management, which has advised her to keep distance from former boyfriend Chris Brown.

She is said to have warned management firm Roc Nation, owned by Jay-Z, that "she'll do whatever the hell she wants to" when it comes to Brown.

Sources said the pop superstar has defied Roc Nation's orders to stay away from Brown, after putting his voice on her suggestive song "Birthday Cake," then tweeting about him and his new girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

"Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she'll do whatever the hell she wants to," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.

"Rihanna is rebelling. She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself. They fear she'll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defy them," the source added.
