July 17, 2012 - Melbourne

Justin Bieber started his three-day Australian tour as part of promoting his new album Believe. His performance for the Australia's Got Talent has seen a fan hopping on stage to get a close up with Bieber. 14-year-old Amilia Radevska tried to have a hug with Bieber before she was carried away by the talent judge Brian McFadden.

The teenager obviously has made good use of the security lapse to reach out to the star. Bieber has not appeared to be upset at the security breach and has patted the girl on her shoulder and smiled before she was taken away. Radevska said. "He told me he loved me and it was all ok before I was dragged away."

Bieber fever is at its high in Australia as his fans used twitter to track the place where Bieber was staying. Many teenagers, particularly girls began camping outside the Olsen Hotel on Chapel Street to have a look at him.

Bieber fans are seen holding hoardings as he entered into Melbourne Docklands Central City Studio yesterday to record his medley of songs for the Grand Final of Channel Seven show, Australia's Got Talent. At around 1 PM he entered into McDonalds to eat.

Though there were no scheduled public interactions, Bieber accepted fan requests and signed autographs.

Bieber took carefully wetted questions from Kyle & Jackie O on their 2Day FM morning show, an Australian radio show. The interviews are told not to ask questions related to Selena Gomez or his run-in with a paparazzi snapper. However, Bieber was happy to take an on-air call from his mother Pattie Mallette. Speaking about his mom, he said "She's a friend and a mom. She's always been really strict, she still keeps me in line."
