Dame Julie Andrews' Brentwood traditional-style mansion sells for $2.64m

Dame Julie Andrews, who listed her four-bedroom Brentwood house with late husband Blake Edwards Less for 2.64 million dollars less than a month back, is now in escrow.

According to public records, the 76-year-old actress originally purchased the tidy white home with gray shutters in 1989 for 1.2 million dollars.

Some of the amenities of the traditional-style, Saltair Terrace home include three baths, a pool and spa, and an artist's studio above the garage.

Surrounded by tall hedges, the gated quarter-acre property features a family room and living room with French doors opening to stunning gardens, designed by Nancy Powers.

The formal dining room has a cathedral ceiling and glass walls.

Some of the Dame's more famous neighbors include Jim Carrey, Cindy Crawford, Steven Spielberg, and Harrison Ford.

According to the Multiple Listing Service, Gary Glass of Prudential California Realty is the listing agent.

Andrews married 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' director Blake Edwards in 1969, and the pair were together for 41 years until his death of complications from pneumonia at 88 in 2010.
