Marcia Cross knew axing of 'Desperate Housewives' was coming

September 26, 2011 - London

Marcia Cross has revealed that although all her co-stars of 'Desperate Housewives' were "in denial" over the news of the TV series getting axed, she knew it was coming.

According to the Digital Sky, the 49-year-old actress also said that it was left to her to break the news to her co-stars - Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria And Felicity Huffman.

"I said to all the girls, 'they are making an announcement about the show and they don't make an announcement unless there is something to announce'. I don't know why, but everybody else was in denial," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"I immediately texted Felicity Huffman who played Lynette as soon as it was confirmed.

"She found out the news through my text," she added.
