Kylie Minogue's 'I Should Be So Lucky' officially an Aussie treasure

August 18, 2011 - Washington

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue's 'I Should Be So Lucky' is among the native treasures to be added to Australia's National Film and Sound Archive.

The 43-year-old's 1987 breakthrough hit will join albums by opera great Dame Joan Sutherland and Skyhooks and The New Seekers' 1964 hit 'I'll Never Find Another You' in the class of 2011.

The singer, thrilled to be a part of the Archive's sounds of Australia treasures, ecstatically tweeted about the honour for herself and her producers.

"What an honour for myself (and producers) Stock, Aitken and Waterman!" Contactmusic quoted her as tweeting.
