Johnny Depp wants to hold off fifth 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' movie

May 6, 2011 - Sydney

Actor Johnny Depp has said that he does not want to rush into making a fifth 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie, and would like to put it off for a while.

Depp, 47, has finished wrapping the fourth film in the franchise, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides', and he along with filmmakers Rob Marshall and Jerry Bruckheimer are interested in making a fifth.

But, according to Hollywood Reporter, he does not wish to hurry up filming, as he would like the fifth to be "special".

"It's not something where I would say, 'Let's shoot it next month to get it out by Christmas 2012'," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted him as saying.

"We should hold off for a bit. They should be special, just like they are special to me," he added.
