Brit actress Helena Bonham Carter has revealed that techniques learned in parenting classes have helped her become stricter with director hubby Tim Burton.
The 44-year-old 'King's Speech' star said her life has transformed after her husband 'changed' following his attendance at the child relationship lessons.
The couple, who two kids, had employed 'childcare guru' Noel Janis-Norton, to help them overcome parenthood difficulties.
"It helped me tremendously with the kiddies and I also found it invaluable in dealing with Tim. It's terrific, he's a changed man," The Telegraph quoted her as telling the Daily Mail.
"What it does is make people think for themselves instead of me, the mother, doing everything for them.
"Tim used to say 'where's such and such' and I would scurry around looking for it. Now I make him do it - and the same with the kiddies," she said.
She added, "It just stops you running around doing every single thing for them. It has changed my life. I think because it has taken the stress out of parenting, or some of it at least, I will probably live 10 years longer."
