Salt injury left Jolie scarred

Angelina Jolie has revealed an injury on the sets of spy action thriller Salt has left her scarred.

London, July 23 : Angelina Jolie has revealed an injury on the sets of spy action thriller 'Salt' has left her scarred.

The actress, who plays mysterious character Evelyn Salt, who may or may not be a Russian spy, performed her own stunts in the film.

Speaking at the Comic Con festival in San Diego, California, the 'Tomb Raider' star sliced open part of her face just above her nose when tumbling into a doorway with a gun.

At first, she thought she had suffered a concussion because she could not hear anything, reports the Mirror.

But it was later that she realised she was wearing earplugs.

Salt opens in US cinemas today.
