George Clooney ropes in big stars for Haiti telethon

Hollywood hunk George Clooney has managed to rope in big names for his Hope for Haiti: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief telethon.

Washington, Jan 20 : Hollywood hunk George Clooney has managed to rope in big names for his Hope for Haiti: A Global Benefit For Earthquake Relief telethon.

While singer Wycleaf Jean will lead the efforts in New York City, Clooney will head in Los Angeles.

Celebrities who will perform for telethon from New York include Jean, Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Sting.

Those who will make appearances from Los Angeles include Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift, reports Radar Online.

However, Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow will perform together.

The A-listers appearing from London include Coldplay, The Edge, Jay-Z and Rihanna.

All performances will be available for purchase on iTunes starting January 23, with the proceeds going into Haiti relief funds managed by "Hope for Haiti Now" charities.
