Aerosmith dismiss China concert reports

Aerosmith have denied reports that the band will perform at a charity concert in China in the absence of frontman Steven Tyler.

Washington, January 18 : Aerosmith have denied reports that the band will perform at a charity concert in China in the absence of frontman Steven Tyler.

However, guitarist Joe Perry has been booked for a solo performance in The Show Of Peace Concert in Beijing on April 10.

"Reports that Aerosmith are performing at The Show Of Peace Concert in Beijing are erroneous, but Joe Perry will be there taking part in the event," the Daily Star quoted a statement posted on the band's official website.

Black Eyed Peas and guitarist Jimmy Page are also expected to perform at the event.
