Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and filmmaker David Dhawan will team up again after many years to judge an upcoming stand-up comedy reality show, Hans Baliye.
Mumbai, May 29 : Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and filmmaker David Dhawan will team up again after many years to judge an upcoming stand-up comedy reality show, Hans Baliye.
Karisma and Dhawan were seen celebrating along with the participants of the show here on Thursday.
Karisma who herself has done successful comedy roles in her films believes that it is a great opportunity for real life couples to showcase their ability to a wider audience.
"It's genuinely a unique concept. I had a great time in Nach Baliye. I am happy to be a part of it. I laughed a lot during the first episode. I think the audience will definitely enjoy a lot with this show," said Karisma.
Gurpeet Guggi, a comedian, who will be participating in the show, says that performing alone was easy but performing now with his spouse would be challenging.
"When the comedy timing of two persons doesn't match then the whole comedy sequence goes into a mess. It would be wonderful to watch the comedy timings of the eight couples who will take part. I was a bit worried when I first performed with my wife but she gave a good performance and I am very confident," said Guggi.
Dhawan is known for his superb comic films many of them which were a hit starring Karisma.
Hans Baliye, will hit television sets on May 30 at the 8.30 pm on Star One.
