Reema Khan is Pakistans Aishwarya Rai

With her striking beauty, she is Pakistans answer to Aishwarya Rai. Meet Reema Khan, a talented actress who has acted in over 200 films since 1992.

Kuala Lumpur, June 7 : With her striking beauty, she is Pakistan's answer to Aishwarya Rai. Meet Reema Khan, a talented actress who has acted in over 200 films since 1992.

Born in Multan, Pakistan, the 29-year-old face of international brands, like Lux, Colgate and Pepsi, is a very determined and hardworking woman.

"I put a lot of effort into improving myself. I still have a lot of things to do and a long way to go, as learning never ends in the life of an artiste," New Straits Times Online quoted her as saying.

Khan, also a film director and producer, has performed on stage with Bollywood megastars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta but has refused countless offers to act in Bollywood movies.

"I can't do kissing scenes or wear a short skirt or a bikini. I'm a Muslim first, and my religion and culture do not allow me to do so," she said.

"If I had taken up the offers I might have got more exposure, but it's not how I want to be known.

"It's through my work that I can help to promote my culture, my people, my religion and my country," she added.
