Queen of pop Madonna and husband Guy Ritchies marriage may be on the rocks - at least thats what their body language during the premiere of RocknRolla suggested.
London, Sept 3 : Queen of pop Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie's marriage may be on the rocks - at least that's what their body language during the premiere of 'RocknRolla' suggested.
Top behaviour expert Judi James analysed the couple's movements at the bash in London's Leicester Square.
She believes that the couple are embroiled in a fierce 'stand-off', with each desperate to gain the upper hand in their relationship.
According to James, the pop star tried to steal her other half's thunder on his big night.
"This awkward, complex-looking body language suggests a feisty standoff. Madonna appears in full diva mode while an anxious-looking Guy seems to have some of the alpha male knocked out of him," the Daily Star quoted her, as saying.
"His expression seems to say his wife's late arrival really might have had him wondering if she'd turn up at all.
"Madonna and Guy usually share the status signals, with Guy taking a back seat for his missus's events while she clings adoringly while he's plugging a film.
"The roles are reversed here, though. She looks happy to take centre stage while her gestures and hard stares hint she's keen to show Guy who's in charge," she added.
The 50-year-old singer turned up an hour late for the screening of 'RocknRolla'.
Ritchie looked 'strained', as the minutes ticked by and she finally turned up with just minutes to spare.
And as the couple strode past fans, Ritchie grabbed Madonna's arm and pulled her along while she performed a bizarre set of poses.
