Jessica Alba has posed in a Hannibal Lecter-type mask for her second provocative ad for Declare Yourself, a non-profit campaign which urges young people to vote.
New York, Oct 2 : Jessica Alba has posed in a Hannibal Lecter-type mask for her second provocative ad for Declare Yourself, a non-profit campaign which urges young people to vote.
The "Fantastic Four" star is pictured wearing no make-up and having tears running down her cheeks.
"We recognize that to break through the media clutter and get young people to take action, we need to be edgy," the New York Daily News quoted Marc Morgenstern, executive director of Declare Yourself, as saying.
"Jessica has had a huge impact on our campaign already, translating already to literally tens of thousands of additional voters," he added.
The dramatic, eye-popping photo of a struggling Alba was taken by renowned photographer Mark Liddell.
She will also appear in a PSA for Declare Yourself later this week alongside 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere.
Despite the racy nature of her ads, Alba says she has no problem being photographed while gagged, muzzled and restrained.
"People respond to things that are shocking," she said.
