Bollywood film about Scarlett Keeling has her family worried

A Bollywood directors plans to make a film about Scarlett Keeling, a 15 years old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered at Goas Anjuna beach in February, has become a cause of concern for her family.

London, May 6 : A Bollywood director's plans to make a film about Scarlett Keeling, a 15 years old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered at Goa's Anjuna beach in February, has become a cause of concern for her family.

Film director Prabhakar Shukla is making 'Rave Party', which will feature dance and music sequences on Goa's pristine beaches, and depict the last few minutes of Scarlett's life.

"It will be a Bollywood film with a tinge of reality as I want people to come to the theatres and learn from the film," the Scotsman quoted Shukla as saying.

However, a lawyer for Scarlett's family has expressed fears that the film's script could deviate from the truth.

The lawyer said that the family was unsure as to how a film could help get justice.

Policemen probing the matter have so far arrested two persons in connection with the case, though one has been released on bail.

According to the police, Scarlett's alleged attackers have confessed that the teenager was high on alcohol, ecstasy, LSD and cocaine when she was raped.

Scarlett's mother Fiona MacKeown, however, claims the authorities have tried to cover up what happened to her daughter.
