London, May 05 : English actress Michelle Ryan has revealed that she was asked by Playboy boss Hugh Hefner to pose naked for the men's magazine.
Though she found the offer very interesting and flattering, Ryan turned it down as she didn't think it was the right time.
"It was very strange and flattering to be asked. However I didn't think it was the right time," The Sun quoted her, as saying.
The actress has come a long way since her days as troubled teen Zoe Slater in EastEnders.
She is said to have made a string of impressive period British TV series', which helped her in taking the big leap to Hollywood to play the lead role in NBC television series remake Bionic Woman.
But the serial did not work out and it was kicked out after eight episodes, Ryan then moved on to the new independent British film Cashback.
'Cashback' has been adapted from an Academy Award-nominated short film, co-starring Sean Biggerstaff, Emilia Fox and Shaun Evans. Ryan stars as Suzy a college student who dumps her long-term boyfriend Ben Willis out of the blue.
Ryan revealed how she relished participating in such traumatic scenes.
"It was fun getting stuck in and doing a lot of shouting," she said.
"I'm lucky as all my relationships have ended mutually so I've not had to go through the trauma that Suzy and Ben go through in the film.
"However I can now appreciate how stressful it can be. I was worn out afterwards!" she added.
