Washington, May 3 : Tom Cruise opened up about his infamous couch-jumping incident to talk show queen Oprah Winfrey in their latest interview.

Oprah went all the way to Telluride, Colorado, to interview Cruise in the first part of the two-part series.

Once there, the actor revealed to Oprah just what had caused his animated profession of love for Katie Holmes back in 2005.

"[It] was a moment, and it was real. I just felt that way, and I feel that way about her. I can't even articulate it, to be honest. That feeling, that connection. Just who she is and what she means to me," People quoted him, as saying.

He also revealed that his kids Connor and Bella has liked Holmes the day he brought her home.

"Kate shows up with cupcakes. The cupcakes are there, and they all looked at me like, 'This is cool. Can we eat these cupcakes? This lady's cool,'" he said.
